Allah does not send trials without giving the means that help us through them

The best way to snap out of it is actually through solid Imaan!

The Lord of the lords (swt) says:

 “But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.” Quran 2:216 

Firstly, nothing in this world happens except by the permission of Allah. The true believer sees in every moment an opportunity to reap blessings and rewards.

And, we remain optimistic in Allah, the All-Merciful Eternal Refuge who never lets us down, and brings us out of darkness into light, time and time again. Allah does not send us trials without also giving us the means to seek relief and to make our success easy.

So, let’s take one beautiful example from our past pious predecessors, here is Maryam (may Allah have mercy on her), she relied on Allah but also took the appropriate measures. Allah said to her: “And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you” So she shook the palm tree and took appropriate measures until the dates fell.

‘Umar said:

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance, He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.” Sunan Ibn Majah
